INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ORIENTATION!
Information for New Graduate Students
Attending International Orientation Is Essential!
The above quote is what one international student has to say about the International Student Orientation. This Orientation period also gives you time to get settled, to become familiar with your new surroundings and to begin to feel comfortably at home.
If you are a student in F-1 or J-1 status, your participation in Spring 2009 International Student Orientation is essential even if you have previously been a student at another US college or university and attended the orientation program there.
It is easy to Register for International Student Orientation. Follow these steps:
Visit the "Orientation Information" link before registering or paying.
Fill out the Orientation Registration Form and read about fee payment
Remember you also need to:
- Plan to obtain housing off campus
- Make arrangements to submit the required Health History Form, Immunization Records and fulfill the MMR request so that you will be able to register for courses
Be sure to visit the links "Arrange Your Housing", and "Health Forms"! This is crucial information for you!
